March/April 2013: An Awfully Big Adventure
Colliding Scopes Theatre in Kingston, Ontario presents “An Awfully Big Adventure”, an immersive adaptation of JM Barrie’s “Peter Pan”. Devised by an ensemble of Queen’s University students, this production asks audiences to choose their own adventure by following the characters they wish to follow throughout the show. Kingston Collegiate & Vocational Institute has been taken over by Neverland, the dream-like haze of contemplation where all we go to escape making decisions. Along the way, audiences discover the darker histories of the characters’ pasts as they race to help free them of Neverland and return them to reality.
